The University of Nebraska Medical Center Newsroom is the institution’s primary platform for press releases and daily news content intended for both campus and public audiences. The site is built on a custom WordPress theme that I developed, featuring more than 30 custom Gutenberg blocks tailored to editorial needs. It serves as the archive for over 30 years of university news content. As part of a major modernization effort, I led the migration from a legacy ColdFusion application with a PostgreSQL database to a modern WordPress-based platform.
